Your manuscript does not need to be fully edited or designed before submission. However, it should be complete, clearly structured and as polished as possible so that our team can review its publishing needs.

Complete Draft Preferred
For fiction, we generally prefer complete manuscripts. For non-fiction, a detailed proposal with sample chapters may also be considered.

Original Work Only
You must own or control the rights to the submitted material and have permission for all third-party content included in the manuscript.

Readable File Format
Please submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document or PDF. Clearly mark all chapter titles, images, tables and illustrations.

Include your book title, genre, synopsis, manuscript status, estimated word count and publishing goals with your submission.

Do you accept unfinished manuscripts?+
For fiction, we prefer complete manuscripts. For non-fiction, business, academic and practical books, we may consider a detailed proposal with an outline and sample chapters.
Do I need to edit my manuscript before submitting?+
No. Submit your best available draft. Our team can recommend proofreading, copyediting, line editing or developmental editing according to your book’s needs.
Will I retain copyright to my book?+
Yes. Eden & Quill follows an author-first approach. The author retains copyright to their original work, subject to the agreed publishing terms.
Can I submit a book that was published before?+
Yes. Please mention where it was previously published, whether it is currently available for sale and whether you control all rights to the manuscript and cover.
Do you work with authors outside India?+
Yes. Eden & Quill works with authors internationally and supports publishing for India, the USA, the UK and selected global distribution markets.
